Yes — Personal Physician Care has two endocrinologists on staff: Dr. William A. Shapse, M.D., and Dr. Danielle Neuman, M.D. Both see patients at our South Florida locations. This means patients with thyroid disease, diabetes, hormonal conditions, PCOS, adrenal disorders, or osteoporosis do not need a referral to an outside specialist — endocrinology care is available within PPC's integrated practice.
Our endocrinology team manages: Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes and pre-diabetes, hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism, thyroid nodules and goiter (with in-house ultrasound surveillance), Hashimoto's thyroiditis and Graves' disease, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), adrenal insufficiency and Cushing's syndrome, osteoporosis and calcium disorders, pituitary disorders, metabolic syndrome, and hormone replacement therapy and optimization.
Dr. William Shapse has practiced endocrinology in South Florida since 1989 — over 35 years of specialized experience. He trained at the Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston and has been a Medical Staff President at Bethesda Memorial Hospital. Dr. Danielle Neuman completed her endocrinology fellowship at NYU Langone Health in New York City and brings subspecialty expertise in metabolic medicine, PCOS, thyroid disease, and integrative hormonal health.
Endocrinology patients at PPC benefit from in-house lab testing (TSH, T3, T4, HbA1c, vitamin D, calcium, cortisol, and more), in-house thyroid ultrasound for nodule monitoring, and direct access to our in-house pharmacist for medication management.
PPC is accepting new endocrinology patients. Call your nearest location or book online to schedule with Dr. Shapse or Dr. Neuman.
