Dr. Margarita Kogan is a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician - over 15 years of experience delivering compassionate, comprehensive, and patient-centered care in diverse outpatient settings.

With a deep love for science and a passion for meaningful patient relationships, Dr. Kogan has cared for patients of all ages and is especially dedicated to ensuring seniors receive the high-quality, individualized care they deserve. She believes in treating not just medical conditions but the whole person, taking the time to learn about her patients’ families, lifestyles, and personal stories — building strong, lasting bonds.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Kogan enjoys spending time with her husband and children, going to the beach, gardening, and dreams of traveling the world.

Experience

Before relocating to Florida with her family four years ago, Dr. Kogan practiced in New York for over a decade and holds active medical licenses in both New York and Florida. She completed her Family Practice residency at Peninsula Hospital Center in Far Rockaway, New York, where she proudly served as Chief Intern. In Florida, she has continued to lead in outpatient care, mentoring fellow physicians and maintaining a strong focus on preventive health and patient advocacy.

Dr. Kogan is also Board Certified as a Hospice Medical Director (HMDC), reflecting her commitment to providing compassionate, full-spectrum care at every stage of life.

She earned her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York, after attending Yeshiva in New York. Dr. Kogan is fluent in Russian and conversational in Spanish, helping her build strong, trusting relationships across a diverse group of patients.
